Positioner

Positioner is the main accessory of the regulating valve. It is usually used together with a pneumatic regulating valve. It receives the output signal of the regulator and then uses its output signal to control the pneumatic regulating valve. The mechanical device feeds back to the valve positioner, and the valve position is transmitted to the higher-level system through an electric signal.

Positioner Classification:
1. According to the control form: 1. Air positioner: Pneumatic control signal: 0.2-1.0 barg 2. Electrical positioner: Current control signal: 4-20 mA
2. According to the adjustment form: 1, analog positioner 2, intelligent positioner
3. According to the feedback form: 1, angular travel positioner (for ball valve, butterfly valve) 2, straight travel positioner (for gate valve, globe valve)
